About Me
Local mom. Big dreams. Real Results.
I started building websites as a hobby project. I was a teacher, a mom, and learning as I went. One site turned into two, two turned into a real audience, and somewhere along the way it became this business that I’m really proud of.
Now I get to do this for other people. I work with local businesses who want a website that works for their individual needs. I’m not an agency, and I care about what happens after we launch.
-
My own sites pull 100K+ monthly pageviews and 4M+ Pinterest impressions organically (zero ad spend).
-
Your business deserves to compete with the big guys online. I help make that happen.
-
You always work with me directly. No account managers, no surprises.
-
I’m in your corner for the long run. I’m flexible, responsive, and always rooting for my clients.

FAQ
Got Questions? I’ve got answers.
And if you’re still wondering about something, just send me a text! I’m happy to answer questions, brainstorm, and chat about your business needs 🙂.
Our first conversation is completely no-strings-attached. I just want to understand your business, your goals, and what’s not working with your current online presence. We’ll talk for about 30 minutes, I’ll ask a lot of questions, and you’ll walk away with a clear picture of what’s possible and roughly what it might cost. No pressure, no pitch, no obligation.
Every project is different, but here’s a general idea so you’re not caught off guard. A simple one-page site (very similar to this one!) starts around $750. A multi-page small business site typically runs $1,500–$3,000. A full build with platform migration can range from $2,500–$6,000. I always provide a flat-rate quote before we start.
Platform migration means moving your website from one system to another. For example, from a clunky agency-built site to something user friendly that you can manage yourself, like Squarespace, Wix, Weebly, etc. You might want this if your current site feels impossible to update, you’re paying an agency too much just to change a phone number, or you want to own and control your own corner of the internet. I handle the entire move with zero downtime. Your existing site stays live the whole time using a private staging environment.
Most projects go from first conversation to launch in about six weeks. Week one is the consultation and contract. Weeks two and three we’re setting up technical aspects, and I’m designing and building as we go. Weeks four and five are revisions (two rounds are always included). Week six is final approvals and launch. From day one to go-live, your business never goes dark. Working on a time-crunch? We can certainly fast-track to meet your needs.
A site that “works” and a site that works for you are two very different things. If your site looks dated, loads slowly, isn’t mobile-friendly, or doesn’t show up in local Google searches, it’s quietly costing you customers every single day even if it’s technically online. A redesign can transform how people find you, what they think when they arrive, and whether they actually reach out. Sometimes the bones are good and it just needs a refresh. Other times it needs a full rebuild. We’ll figure that out together.
My maintenance packages cover the things you shouldn’t have to think about like software updates, downtime monitoring, backups, and small content edits like updating hours, swapping a photo, or changing out promotions or specials. Basic care starts around $75/month. More active packages ($150–250/month) include SEO monitoring, Google Business management, content updates. I also offer one-time or a-la-carte services for clients who just need occasional help without a monthly commitment. No contract required.
Your Google Business profile is often the very first thing someone sees when they search for a local business. I can set it up, optimize it, and (optionally) manage it by keeping your hours, photos, reviews, and posts current. A well-maintained profile increases how often you show up in local search results and builds trust with visitors. More visibility means more calls, more visits, and more sales organically, with zero ad spend.
Yes. A one-page site can get you online for around $750. A simple site, just like this one can be a beautiful, mobile-friendly website that you’re proud to share. If budget is tight, just text me and we can come up with a plan togethe. I’m also open to creative arrangements including bartering for services in certain cases. Don’t be afraid to ask!
You do. 100%. Everything is built under your name and contact information from day one. I’ll even help you regain control of your site if you don’t currently have access. During the build I’ll have administrative access so I can do my job. Once we launch you can keep me on as an admin for easy future access if needed, or remove me entirely. Either way is fine. Your site, your business, your asset. Always.
That depends on the platform we build on. One of my goals is always to leave you with something you can actually manage yourself. I’ll walk you through how to make basic updates — swapping photos, editing text, adding a post — before we wrap up. If you ever get stuck, I’m just a text away. And if you’d rather just hand it off entirely, that’s what my maintenance packages are for.
I’m part of this community and I stand behind everything I build. If something breaks on the technical side I’ll fix it. If you accidentally broke something while making edits yourself, that’s a little different, but I’m still not going to leave you hanging. Text me, we’ll jump on a free call to figure out what happened, and go from there. I’m invested in your success long after launch day.
Not at all! That’s kind of my whole thing. I was a teacher before I was a web designer, so explaining things and helping people is part of my DNA. If you’re not sure where to start, or have a unique situation, I’m here to help you out!
Before we start, I’ll need to know who currently owns your site (your domain), who hosts it (your server), and what platform it’s built on. You’ll need access to all of that. If your site is managed by an agency and you’re not sure how to get that information, don’t worry. I’ll walk you through exactly what to ask for and who to contact. On the creative side, I’ll need your logo, brand colors, fonts, and any business photos you want to use. If you don’t have those yet, sometimes a new project is a great excuse to get a proper brand kit in place.
It’s not nothing … but it really depends on the scope. If we’re building something brand new from scratch and you need photos, a logo, brand colors, and all-new content, your involvement will be heavier upfront. If you already have an established brand and we’re just refreshing or migrating your site, it’s much lighter. I’ll always tell you upfront what I need from you and when, so you’re never caught off guard by a last-minute request.
Absolutely. If you have an established brand (logo, colors, fonts, the works) I’ll build everything to match. Just share your files and I’ll take it from there. If you don’t have brand assets yet, or what you have feels outdated, that’s totally fine too. We can work through that together before we start building.
Yes. You need both. Your domain name is your web address (like yourbusiness.com) and hosting is the service that keeps your site live on the internet (like Verizon and T-Mobile provide service to your cell phone). Your domain is typically registered through a provider like GoDaddy, Namecheap, Wix, etc. and runs about $10–20/year. Hosting varies more widely from $5/month for basic shared hosting to $30+/month for faster managed hosting. If you already have these, great. If you need help setting them up or figuring out what you have or if it’s with an agency, we’ll get the information we need one step at a time.
No. My focus is right here in our community in Westmoreland and Allegheny county. Being local means I understand your customers, your market, and what it takes to stand out in this area. If you’re a local business, you’re exactly who I’m here for.
A little bit, yes. I can include occasional social media posts as part of a monthly management package if you’re only looking for a few posts a month. But if you’re looking for a full social media manager posting more than once a week, posting on multiple platforms, or running ads, that’s a different role and you’d be better served by someone who specializes in that full-time. I’ll always be upfront with you about what I can do well versus when you need a different kind of expert.
If you have existing customer management or booking software, we can often migrate it right into your new site or use it as an opportunity to switch to something more modern if what you have isn’t working. Online shopping can also be integrated, though e-commerce sites are a bit more involved and priced accordingly. And if you don’t need any of that now but want to add it down the road, you absolutely can. If that’s something that you’re thinking about down the road, we can plan ahead and make sure your site is built to grow with you long-term.
